Hey guys,
i am getting abit confused with all the american sites so ill ask here...
for my OBD1 d16a8, will i need to use a resistor box if i use "DSM" 450cc injectors?
i beleive DSM injectors are the same as Evo ones?

doesn't the obd1 d16a already have the resistor box?
stock honda odb1 injectors are high impedance (saturated). If you run low impedance (peak and hold) injectors on ur car, u need a resister box to work. AFAIK, evo injectors are low impedance

you can also just wire individual resistors in(easier, imo)

saxman, i have been reading up on both ways...people say that individual resistors add bulk to the wiring, where as a box looks cleaner...

heist, only need resistor boxes if the ecu is inferior and cannot drive those injectors.
what ecu are u running?

yah, the resistors do add a bit of bulk to the wiring. Either can be made to like nice and clean. Either way works.

yah... not horrible... I think I paid about $50 for the set I use, but they seem to have gone up in price over the past year or two. I see the injectors go on ebay these days for $75-80, so that's not a bad price
you shouldn't need the clips though. the dsm ones will clip into the stock clips if you trim out a tiny bit of plastic on the injectors(literally takes 30 seconds with a razor blade)

OBD1 h22a injectors are peak and hold, but are the only OBD1 injectors that are...
