I have a D16Y4 hope to do the conversion next year too.
Ive been looking at turbo kits and this is the best value one i have found without asking about custom kits.

Greddy T04D-19T (http://www.alamomotorsports.com/grturbokits.htm) the 4th and 8th ones down the list.
Weq pointed me in the right direction on how to get one, he also has a great write up on the process he went through!!

Happy hunting!!

Boosted Hondas are cool.... and somewhat unique in Australia. IMO it'd be pretty cool having a sleeper looking little civic/integra, even accord *looks at Sam*that goes hard...

I believe if you ask Weq you'll find he's pretty happy with his conversion dude. Talk to him and he'll be able to provide u with some handy info for ur car, or at least point u in the right direction! :)

As compared to McChook's "bragging" sections, which are basically the "Technical", "Civic", "Integra", "Accord" and "Lounge" sections of this forum..... ;)

I'll start a thread this weekend with a final dyno output of the civic tuned at 10psi.

The T04D-19H kit was quoted to me for under US$2000 with the front mount cooler also under US$700 plus shipping.
Then to get into australia 15% import duty + 10% GST.
All up around AUS$4500 in my hands..

Kit includes:
Turbo.... rated to 300hp
Cast manifold
Dump pipe
E-manage
310cc injectors
Intake
Lines and
all hardware needed for installation

Sure you could put together a second hand parts system or a bitsa.
Or get a system thats a garunteed performer and a well know trusted brand.
Others have similar kits and are well happy with the performance.

All comes down to personal preference i guess... :)

No 15% duty :) It saves u a bit of money. Msg me and i'll give u the customs duty exemption number. Pays to have a customs broker as a mate.

I put mine together for around $3200 fully imported which included 4x440cc injectors + cooler + bov. At the height of our dollar early this year, something like ~$2800 for the same stuff would of been on the cards.
