Hi guys

Was thinking about spraying the cushion plastic regions of my door trim and dash with vinyl spray, was wondering if anyone has attempted this? is it a good idea? any advice? any pics?

If i stuff it up or it looks crap, i'll probably get it retrimmed in leather. Any ideas on how much retrimming the dash would cost?

Cheers
Day.

You could always buy the extra door panels that I have for sale and try it out :D. I have never seen it done before, but I have seen where they vinyl dye an interior and that looks good.

I've used vinyl spray before on the arm resty thing in my eg hatch before and it came up really well. I sprayed it black, cause i just wanted an oem look. I'd have second thoughts about doing the whole dash in vinyl spray, as it cops direct sunlight and gets pretty hot, but if you are going to retrim in leather, give it a go and see how you like it. BTW, leather anywhere is expensive, even more so on the dash. So be prepared :D
