I wanted to get everyones' experinece with using the search feature of Ozhonda. So far from my own experience i find it not so useful. Let me give you an example:
I type the word *brakes* on the search field; obviously i expect posts to appear which have the word *brakes* somewhere on the post title. right? well it doesnt happen like that :? I get posts about the RALLY OF MEXICO and other non related *brakes* stuff :thumbsdown:
If im using it worng :thumbsdown: on me. But it just sucks 'cose all the knowledge thats being stored cannot be brought back...

Well you'd have to bring it up with the developers of phpBB :)

*me thinks you're using it wrong*

Try this

Click Search --> Type "brakes"
Click "Search for all items"

TIck the option "Posts" next to "Display results as"

Seems fine to me!?!

thanks for your help but i was referring to looking through topics and not posts :)
Is it not possible to just search for topics which have the word *brakes* written on the topic?

thanks

Ahh ok.

So you want to only search the topic titles is that correct?

I think its actually the software, cos vbulliten you can search titltes, but on all forum on the net I visit like ths style, you can only search message only , or message title and message text at same time...

Kinda backwards imo :D
