I just bought 2 sets of tyres for my SIR CRX 90
Bridgestone potenza 540S 205/60r15 $1300 these are the **** :thumbsup:
AZENIS 205/60/r15 $1000
For my track car I have a set of 15inch 7/1/2 three piece wantabees rims and my f#ck&n car is to low and the rear scrubs :confused:
because of the profile. My everyday wheels are 17inch by 7/1/5 and they don’t scrub tyres are 215/35/r17 Bridgestone potenza
Does any one use this 60 profile on their ride ...........
and what type of tyres do you use on the track

Have a try with these two online calculators, compare your track wheels and street wheels, then play around with the profiles etc. Find out what will be good for you.

Personally, I would have gone for 205/55. Did you order these tyres or the tyre shop recommended these sizes to you?? If they recommended them, take them back and tell them they farked up and you want the correct size rolling diameter tyre.

What are the wheel offset on the 15's in comparison to the 17's... Hopefully, they are the same ?!?!

Otherwise I forsee tyres going cheap in the trading post...

yeah, 60 profile is too big for 15" wheels. On a ED/EF CRX/Civic I would stick to 50 profile.

i have run 205/55/15 SO2s before and they helped me clear my driveway :)

sidewall was relatively strong - but 60 profile would cause scrubbing issues no doubt...

tyres sound exxy for such an odd profile.

I think it might be your offset of your 15" your 17" seem fine.
You might just need to get another set of 15" rims with a different offset.
195/50 to 195/55 is about 1.5cm higher. I would assume the other is 3cm for a 60 series. Since the cars are designed with 55 series in mind then i would say it is not a prob. Check the offset that might b your problem.
