integra changing el-gauges writeup

hey guys i been wanting to change the speedo etc color in my 96 teg gsi just wonderin whos done it and how difficult it is i have been looking for a write up but not been successful if some1 knows of one could they plz attach the thread to this forum thanks ....

i think i can get it undone etc but need to know how to get face plate off without bending or breaking the needle's etc

sorry about secnond post......but i was just thinking when i buy the parts its like $200 so does that include the whole block that slides out or is it the a thin white backgroud that i connect to original speedo block thing

hey update jcause i see people viewing this thread lol

i been playin with dash etc took the covers off etc got down to being able to touch needle etc and change lights at back......

all i need to know is the process in which to get the new el-gauge (white cover on back) past the needles etc i presume the needles need to be taken off .... any1 know the process of doing it

you do not need to take off the needles. EL Guages are flexible. Bend them a little to get over the needles.

alright sorry champ not used to posting stuff just read wat every1 else writes lol

i have been thinkin of getting the autojoy gauges for $180 but i odnt know wat is included in that whether its just dials that slip on top of the old ones
i dunno i think i would prefer not to do that

any thoughts
