Hey, how you doing.
I got a mate to record a launch I did.

My car is a Prelude 3rd Gen. Auto (I know its sad, but I got it for a good price).
Custom 2.25 cat back, no resonator, and with a cannon style muffler at the end.

Please tell me what you think of the sound.
I'm thinking of getting a new muffler. A Magnaflow. My current exhaust note sounds really racey, and I wanna make the sound more suttle, with some deepness & growl to it. :D

Note. If you listen carefully, you'll hear a harsh metal grinding sound. It happens after reving bout 4.5 thou's till 5'ish. It started happening recently. Getting worried might be the cylinders screwing up.
Me and some other people cant work out where exactly its coming from.

Latters.

Hey! Takaeasy. :)
Sounds a lot better in real life. Doesnt fart that full on.
Did a volume test at an exhaust centre the other day. Reached 110db.

Everyone I ask, even the guys at the exahaust centre recomended me Magnaflow. Not too loud, & nice sounding.

Im thinking of buying the Apexi N1 na muffler. Cannon style suits Preludes more I think. I've heard it on Preludes, & it sounds pretty mean.

I'll go try out some mufflers on my car soon.
Put on a dual tip 5zigen muffler & Magnaflow. I wanna hear how that sounds.
How are 5zigen rated?

I want a deep tone while driving low rpms, and mean cracking exhaust note with gaps in the sound. Not the usual constant tone.
