Hey guys

Im just new to the forum and recently bought a 95 DC4 GSi Teg. Looking at getting wheels but the wheels i wanted arnt available in 17's but can get them in 18's. Just wondering if anyone has had 18's on their DC4 and have much trouble with scrubbing. Im looking at dropping it a bit as well but not sure if King Low's will look low enough with 18's and if the scrubbing becomes a big problem then.

Any help would be great and sorry if this or anything similar has been posted already...couldnt find anything.

Hey hot-teg,

Scrubbing will probably happen with 18" rims (and low profle tyres) even without lowering your car. When you turn your steering wheel to full lock, it will hit the wheel wells. After lowering your car on 18" rims, you will be in a whole new world of pain and uncomfortable driving. My advice, find a different pair of rims in 17".

Have a search around the forums and you will probably find people that have had similar problems with their teg.

Have a read through these and see if they help.

18's will be fine before and after lowering...get your guards rolled if you want to be certain

you will easily be able to full lock both directions as long as it's not dumped to the ground
