[EURO] warranty

HI,

A mate is thinking of buying a 2003 euro, however the log book is missing. Since all euro comes with standard 3 year warranty. Is he able to check if there is still warranty and transfer warranty into his name? Also is the warranty voided since no log books so no proof of services?

You dont need the log books to claim warranties but you do need to check it has been serviced.
1st - try to check the service history @ local honda dealers (if known).
2nd - call honda - they may have some records.
You can transfer warranty/ownership on www.honda.com.au then go to the owners club (hondaone) after you register.

BE WARY OF A 2 YEAR OLD CAR WITHOUT BOOKS - GET IT CHECKED INDEPENDANTLY.
