As some of you know - I have been looking for rims for my Euro for a while now. Well I just found some and picked them up!

They are Prodrive GC07C - Made in Japan and fully forged. I found a set in great condition at www.chasers.com.au = 17x7.5 in ET48. There is only one minor gutter scrape on one rim - otherwise close to perfect condition for all rims. I was apprehensive buying second hand so I had the rims checked at the local tyre shop - they said they spin true and there is nothing wrong with them.

Donnellans wanted $800 per rim for new GC07C- I managed to pick these up for $400 a rim. Hopefully I didn't get ripped off too much! Did I do ok?My inclination was that it is a lot of money for second hand rims - but these are lightweight (6.9kg) and should improve handling and performance.

Now for tyres - any suggestion on where to buy decent performance tyres at a good price? Looking for 225/45/17.

By the way- chasers have lots of Volks Te37 at good prices - but only in 16" at the moment.

Is Chasers the one on Queensberry St?
That rim looks hot mannnn!!!!
can't wait to see how it looks on euro. What colour was it?
The dark one looks mad!!!

I'm not so sure about tyres, but I wouldn't mind a Dunlop SP9000

Yes - it was Chasers on Queensberry St.

I got the metal silver - it is a gunmetal dark finish (didn't have a choice of colour really - that is all they had).

Will post pics once I have tyres mounted this weekend

Sweet. Can't wait to see them on the car. Is your Accord lowered?

No - it is not lowered - it needs to be. Some people say just changing the springs works fine (ie Eibach Prokit). Others say I need to go for coilover (read expensive). Not sure what to do..

I will probably wait on lowering the car - I want to avoid impacting the Honda warranty too much. Once I am out of warranty that is another thing...

Not sure about Sunday meet - see what I can do.
