I was just wondering if anyone has done a DIY amber gauge cluster install on there civic gauge cluster. At the moment the stock lighting is white and i would like to go an amber colour or maybe blue. If anyone has done this DIY and could show pictures or a writeup that would be great thanks.

I'll give you a quick how to do it.
I can pm u a more detail one or post one if u would like.
All u need is to get the orange or blue globe covers from u local auto shop; they simply slip over top of your existing globes.
I always replace all the globes while I'm there saves doing it later when they blow (from age)! You will need to pull the gauge cluster out and on the back you will find all the globes, cover the ones you wish to make glow orange/blue.
Put the cluster back in, test be for securing.
1.Get globe covers the correct size (and maybe new globes)
2. Remove the cluster, do it slowly and be careful of the cables on the back as they break easy
3. Replace the globes and apply coves to the ones that you would like to change the color of. As you may want to leave some of the service lights (ie. engine light)
4. Connect the cables back up and test before screwing back into place.
Hope this helps!
Parts should cost under $15 depends on globes.
