Hi all,

My right front indicator, on the front bar, on my 95 DC2 has died. Doesn't work anymore, and in turn is causing the delay on the timing to slow down and make them blink really fast.

Anyways, question is simple, do I just go to honda and get the bulb, and; do I have to remove the front bar to replace the globe?

Thanks

nah all u gotta do is unscrew the light housing. if you look at it there is one screw on the bit closer to the fender......unscrew that and then you can pull the housing out.....then you untwist the indicator globe which is the one closer to the centre of the front bar.....go to repco or wherever and a new light is like a dollar..

your not supposed to touch these globes with your bare hands either..
depends how cautious u are i suppose. Supposed to use gloves or use a tea towel or something.

yea with headlights dont touch em.....but with these it doesnt really matter.....but the reason you shouldnt touch new globes is cos it supposedly shortens their life....

you can touch the bulb.
it's the head light bulbs you cannot touch.
where as normal, brake, reverse, signal bulbs you can touch.

Thats all, all fixed. I replaced both parkers and both indicators, considering they were only 80c each, I figured why not. My plastic light housing on the front bar, was full of water. Which was the cause of the bulbs dieing (left parker was also dead).

Is this a normal thing? The rain the last month has been really bad, but I can't see why water got into the housing and shorted the bulbs?
