I went to change my alloy wheels back to my stockies but when they fitted the wheels, they also fitted alloy hub-centric adapters.

These things are an absolute pain in the arse to remove and after an hour and a half succeeded in removing one before giving up (it's too friggen hot and im too tired).

Has anyone got any ideas on an easy way to get them off? They are rammed up tight against the brake disc/drum and I can't even get anything behind them to lever them off unlike the plastic ones which you can just tap a screw driver behind or something. I tried that with these but it just dug in to the soft alloy ad most likely pressed it harder up against the hub thus making it even more difficult to remove.

Has anyone got any ideas as to how to get these little f*ckers off????

try just putting something against the edge of it and tap it gently with a hammer to try and drift it loose.

OR

try a smaller screwdriver to get it started ie the biggest one in a jewlers set.

OR

last resort apply a tiny bit of wd40 etc using the tube to squirt it right where it meets the face of the hub. CAUTION do not get any on the brake rotor or pads.
leave for a bit to work in then give it another go with the drift.
