hi does anyone know if r33 skyline front seats can fit into a ek4 civic, can i modify my rails or get custom ones made up or something thanks.

YES they will fit but u may need kuztom rails
basically any seat can fit any car with enough work

ok cool thanks, i was just asking cause i thought they may be too wide or something, do you need a engn cert for changing seats?

You will need an Engineering Cert for any parts of the car that is regarded to safety. They would have to make sure that your custom seat brackets bolt onto your car safely and tight. The cops are afraid that you will have an accident and your aftermarket seats would crash out of the windscreen and kill another person. Lame I know...

Who knows how much a cert costs? If you have done the seats yourself to there specs, so they just have to look at it and sign it off??

they will look at it and do the math "shear force analysis etc" give u the nod or cross...although if you are a good mate with one they'll just give u a tick

man are you a fat-ass ? cause otherwise there's absolutely no point in swapping ugly grey fat-ass R33 seats for your trim and tight EK4 seats !?!?!?!

I looked into those R33 seats once - could have scored a set for free - but man they are crap !!

i have R32/33 GTR seats in my eg5 ..
they look and feel great .. so did everyone dats been in them .
they actually look kinda small in the lil hatch lol

if ur're talking abt gts-t seats forget abt it !
the GTR seats rails are welded onto the actual seat frame so u cant use other/honda rails,,.. but u cant mod the gtr rails to fit hondas
