Ok guys, was driving other day and gearbox finally shat out on me :cool:
Bad thing is i'm without my car for a while.. Good thing tho is that it was the crappy standard LS gearbox from the b18a and now i finally can get a proper box to suit my torqless vtec haha :D
Anyway here's the thing.. I have basically $3 - $4K to spend (could probably go more but i'm tryin to keep it under 4) I'm not interested in changing to hydraulic so anything related to me going hydraulic is completely outa the question. Now so far only thing i can really see worth doing is having the gearbox i have rebuilt with custom gearing and LSD installed etc.. Now then, i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions like maybe there is a box out there that would be readily available for me to just purchase.. or maybe some other option.. Take into acount the box will be punished on a daily basis.. So yeah also if i go with rebuilding my current box i was also wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a place to go to, i have one place in mind over in campbeltown but if there is maybe somewhere that speciallises in honda or has good experience with them then i would obviously preffer to deal with them..
