civic 1990 tail lights

HI people merry christmas :wave:
I own A ED Civic 1990 GL sedan and i want to get crome altezza tailights but i have only found them for the hachback model on ebay
do they even make them for my car
or if not can u get them custom made do anyone know where to get it done

nah i dun think they sell em for sedans. keep the lights as they are coz it'd look shocking with 'tezzas

I havent seen altezza lights for the sedan, although i have seen similiar. Im not quite sure how its done, but ive got pictures of sedans with stock looking tails but without any colour in them. So theyre all clear, looks terrible. As an alternative you can paint the lights all red, getting rid of the orange indicator ( i have and really like it), it looks realy good on my car, which just happens to be the same colour red as yours.

Thats a pic of mine, i did an 88-89 tails swap on my 90-91 coz i prefer the look. Heres a pic of a friends sedan from honda-tech ( ef4_anthony) Who gave me a write up to painting muh tails.

That link shows how you can paint the glass of your lights, for your tail lights its very similar, except using Krylon stain glass paint and using a fine 800-1200grit sandpaper between coats. Hope that helps man, it helped me.

Umm quick question thinkign abotu doing this myself isnt the red corners illegal

Mines passed rego twice now, and no mention of them. As long as its done well, it looks stock, and it doesnt stop the opacity of the glass, as long as you dont aply it too thickly.
