hi guys!
ive got issues with my dc2 integra! the abs light comes on and stays on once i touch the break peddle while driving!
i managed to pull a code from the abs light. 4 quick and 1 slow!
i looked it up and it seems to suggest the front right wheel abs sensor (correct me if im wrong) so i replaced the sensor but no luck!
can i use the multi meter to look for a broken wire ????
i dont know!!!
anyone???

yeah code 41 is right front WSS
did you have a cv joint replaced recently. sometimes they forget to remove the paulse ring off the old joint and refit it to the new joint. but anyway your sensor should measure 600 to 900 ohms. you can measure this at the sensor connector.
to prove your wiring is ok. I would measure this at the ECU pin 4 and 5 of the 22 pin connector ( shorter one of the two, also 1 is the left most terminal from the wire side of the connector. then 2 3 4 5 from the left to right )
unplug the connector from the ABS ecu 1st, make sure ignition is off
good luck

what about error code 56?.

you ABS system will have 2 fail safe relays
how sure are you about code 56. the good book of Honda speaks not of such a code.
anyway you should be looking at the rear wheel sensors are as codes in the 50's are related to rear wheel sensors
has the car been on a dyno recently or you having alot of fun in wet weather at all ???

Sorry it's a 54, which is the fail safe relay. I haven't been having fun when the light comes on. It just came on.
Where about is the fail safe relay. I only know one... which is on the bottom right hand side near the bumper.

dude
code 54 is not fail safe relay for a DC2
its rear wheel lock on the right hand side
posible causes are
wheel spin
open or short in wheel speed sensor
rear brake drag
modulatpr failure
faulty ABS ECU

I thought that's the error code for DC2 prior to 1998. The service manual from a 1998 integra state that code 54 relates to a fail safe relay

54 is fail safe relay, you only have one,
