type R vs fto mivec?

are the mitusbishi fto mivec 2lt v6s any good... i drove a type r the other day and it absoloutly blew my mind at how quick it was. and i was speakin to a mate of mine who just recently drove a fto mivec and said it was as faster then a teg type r... ive really been keen on a type r for a little while now after hearing that it just blew my mind.....
dunno what to think... ill just have to take one for a spin now....
