If this does finally happen, i am going to get one for sure! probably will have to find a reputable place to do it but i will def. consider buying this. even if it means shipping it all the way from the states.

Looks sweet mate, CAPA in SA would probably be your best bet, they have supercharged just about everything, and they seem friendly to deal with.

Comptech SC is up for sale!
http://www.comptechusa.com/store/page5.html
USD$4395.
will only fit 04 M/T
according to website , other years' M/T and A/T are under development.
anyone knows if this will be a straight bolt on for the CL9?
and whats the difference between a 04 and 05 TSX/CL9 that they have to modify the comptech SC to fit?

THATS IT!
this shall be my next mod! (when they make one for the 05)
just outta curiosity, would ECU have to be reflashed? or can u just stick with ur normal ECU?
also, wat happens to DBW? keep or replace?

Looks nice and keeps the electronic throttle.
But:
- Tuning is handled by both the Comptech ACM (Advanced Control Module) and by a Re-Flash of the stock ECU.
- Requires customer to send in ECU, Immobilizer Module, and Keys
Looks like we'll need a reflash that is specific to our ECUs.
On the bright side:
- VTEC is lowered to 3,000 RPM from 6,000, and Camshaft Angle is advanced to 20 degrees between 2,000 to 7,000 RPM only under boost conditions
yummy!

Hey guys! A dyno of the 6MT test car has been released. The TSX is that of a TSX forumer. Comptech is testing on public cars, one 6MT and one 5AT. Here's the yummy stuff: 244hp ATW, which should be 287hp at the flywheel assuming 15% loss.

Divide by 1.341 man. 182 kW at the wheels, and 214kW at the flywheel.

82 kw for about 7g's... assume 4300 * 1.5 for conversion

6000 AUD plus shipping is a lot of money. Plus customs if they get it the act...could be exy

you could buy the K-pro and retuned to suit your mods.

Except that K-pro doesn't support the K24A..
there are few people already have done it in US K- pro with RSX-S base to TSX with minor tuning. I think it might be possible to do to our accord euro with minor tuned by profesional. I know one guy put K20A engine to civic EG with K-Pro tuned in Australia and works fine.

K-pro works fine with the K20A, both the base model and Type R engines. The K24A doesn't work with k-pro because of the electronic throttle. People in the US transplant their RSX-S heads over to a CRV block to make a tunable equivalent to the K24A2.
You might ask why not put the RSX-S head on a K24A2? It's too expensive.
First time i thought that way too but after I red the article in sport compact car feb 06 issue. they use K-pro in k24a2 engine and don't have to use rsx-s head or CRV block to it. Bout the E- throttle the replace it with k20a intake manifold which is throttle cable.
