View Full Version : fitting pod filter to del sol

hey anyone done this? do i need an adapter or not, the minda at auto barn said i do then i dont then i do, air flow meter is right at the back were the efi is, so the adapter he was telling me to buy would place my filter right back there,

any help much appreciated,

correct me if i was wrong about anything aswell

just go back to autobarn and ask for a intduction kit for your crx with the year it was manufactured... the kit should cost about $100 and include an air filter and you just bolt it on...

just bought k&n filter tho dont want another filter

just get a intake pipe or go to nearest exhaust shop they will fit it for u

Did you get flat panel filter (goes in airbox) or pod filter ?

Hondas dont use Air-flow meters.. they use MAP sensors.

all u need is an intake tube like simota etc or even just an adaptor for the end of your stock rubber uintake tube. some states require that the pod filter is fixed also.

afaik they're supposed to be enclosed in most states (ie. in a box sorta thing)

i put mine in the bumper, a DIY CAI :D , used the stock piping and still got the airbox in the engine bay

Dude, i have a spare home made CAI pipe.

you are MORE than welcome to come take a look at it.
