I am thinking about lowering my ITR, mainly because of looks, but I don't want to damage my suspension/handiling.
I have standard ITR rims so I want the car just a bit lower, not droped all the way down, I want car to look a bit more aggresive.

What would you recomand???
and would you do it at all???

I don't have an ITR but my Vtir has ITR suspension, if you want lower I'd suggest looking at Spoon Progressives, about another inch or so lower again and looks quite good. Also they're designed to work with your stock shocks. I've seen some in the For Sale section.

you can get any kind of rate and height adjustable suspension eg. koni, bilstein and all other japanese band.
but make sure not to make the car too low, because it could upset the factory roll centre setting and hurt the handling.

Bilsteins are good because you can get lower spring seat circlip grooves machined in so you adjust height.

I can adjust height in my car with degrees of 8mm.

I know what you are saying but to get the rate and height adjustable suspension I would need to spend over $1000, I was thinking just about good springs, I heard lots of good things about Spoon Progressives.

I got the Tanabe DF210 springs put into my dc2r. Feels a little stiffer than stock. Feels alot better around the bends too. Check them out..... http://www.tanabe-usa.com/springs/

I heard Tein SS good for street. It can adjust damper and height. If you just change spring, you can't adjust the height which you want. You can't adjust the damper setting to suit your driving habit. My friend just installed the Tein SS for his dc2. He falls in love with this suspenion.
