5th Gen Climate Control Problems

Hey guys just wondering if any1 else on here has had any climate control issues?

When I start my car the climate control display flashes on and off, then shuts off completely with no fan etc for 15-30 mins, then comes on for 5 mins and switches back off again.

I presume it cant be a loose connection to the display/control panel?!?!

Any advice or info would be handy as it quite hot here atm!

hmmm my fan selector doesnt work when i turn the knob but after i start and stop the car a few times it starts to work on the desired setting?? :S

I have climate control so when i adjust the knob i am adjusting the temperature.

Sound slike you have a VTI or EXI?

C/C also has a digital display to show what temperature is selected, what fan speed, what mode etc etc

Thats definately weird mate!!!!

Unless the owner took it out and retro fitted it to his wifes car or something?!?

Thats all I can think of!!!

Do you have an early 5th Gen late 93/early 94?
