No a Ek and EG do not match up under the car. You will need to get it modified.
With all the chopping and changing ur better off getting one made for your car.
1. I didn't notice any difference compared with a straight thru
2. back pressure? this is mainly due to your piping size and not as much to do with you choice of muffler, quality is good.
3. Price i got mine from EgSi can't rem how much i was like $200 something shipped.
4. Never had one to compare. If you can afford the $1000 ish to get a Mugen one then buy the mugen one. You get what you pay for. I did hear they were quieter.

AFAIK EG and EK are interchangeable... this is the case with the Spoon N1 right up to the brackets.. so i am not sure why it would be different with other brands...
