I got some question with exhaust system? Because i want to change my exhaust system on my EK sedan, but i don't know what exhaust system i should fit in?
4inch exforce cannon $100? and hitech exhaust now $250 axleback? both second hand
what is the differnet between this 2 and which one will increase the power of the car?? which one is better for my car?
1 more question .
i went to a shop the other day, the staff told me the K & N replcaement filter work better than the air intake with the pipe. is the true? ??

Depends on what you want. Fast and super loud or decent noise?
The canon are generally louder. But since it is a straight thru pipe will prob give more power.
The replacement filters work better if you can't block off heat getting to your filter.
Otherwise the pods give a better flow.

Ok, a few things. The 'cannon' is more than likely just simply a muffler (with presumably a tip) - this is the bit that sits right at the end of the exhaust closest to the back bumper.
The 'hitech exhaust' is an axleback and like the 'cannon' includes a muffler (and presumably a tip) with a piece of piping that replaces part of the stock piping between where the rear axle is and the muffler.
As to which is 'better' or would preduce more power, some of the more experienced members might be able to help you (the axleback opens the exhaust up a little more and the bends might be eased a little more, pushing more gas out at a higher rate - although this may be all a waste of time considering it is only right before the muffler that it does anything).

Do a search on the different filters - it has been covered as to which is a 'better' system. Furthermore, also be cautious as the "air intake with the pipe" can be illegal if not mounted correctly (ie the filter inside a box etc).

I didn't buy a cat back. I got the whole thing custom made and gave them the exhaust i wanted along with headers.
Cat back does very little except make some noise and some bling
a full exhaust is the only way to make any decent power.
My exhaust is a JDM 4-1 2 1/2",to 2 1/4" Larger hi-flow cat, Mandreal bent 2 1/4" exhaust system to a 2 1/4" Twinloop.
Intake is a custom pod(Redline) with airbox CAI
Sound fairly aggressive when revved but is quiet when cruising

If you buy a cat back it should be easliy put in for like $50 to $100 depending if they need to cut it.
