to make a b16 head fit on the b20 , do you have to drill new holes or just inlarge the holes in your current head? and to drill the hole for the PCV system. can you do it yourself or do you have to take it to a machine shop??

I haven’t done a swap. but I have been researching it. You don’t drill new holes you enlarge the existing holes to 14mm. as for weather u can do it yourself; well I wouldn’t but doesn’t mean u cant.

well if you have one of those drilling machines, proper saftey equipment, and you know what you are doing then i can't see why not.... but for a proper job id take it to someone.

maybe u guys should read this article.. it explains why "FRANKENSTEIN" motors aren't great..

http://www.phatwhippincrx.20m.com/custom4.html

A bit technical tho, so some mite not believe it.. although I do, cos one of my fren did it, and his engine isnt great. Causes way too much problems..

h17am - nice find but the reason honda didnt make the hybrid is cos they have to have different power levels for different cars. for instance ALLMTR has a b20/b16 hybrid that runs 12s which is quicker than an NSX. if honda put these motors in their civics then whats the point of buying a NSX. besides there are way too many ppl around with hybrids and they dont have any problems

hmm maybe in the short term there wont b no problems.. but long term reliability may not be as good tho, oh well... i guess it's just a matter of preference... i'm not a big fan of it thats all..
