Just wondering whether anyone has seen the new 2006 facelift Accord Euro in any of the Melb dealers? Please let me know which dealer? Thanks.

Hi, for a start, you need to tell us where you are...

And :)

Secondly... Honda AFAIK has already released them for sale. Should be in most if not all the Honda Dealerships.....

Seen it at Essendon and Heidleburg dealers. All dealers should have them by now.

I went to Highway Honda (Springwood, Brisbane) on the last day of 2005. I was so disappointed as there's no 2006 model of EURO. All they have were four 2005 runout sale Euros.
Hopefully they will have some fresh stock soon.

Ive seen plenty on Sydney roads already at the artarmon dealership i saw an 05 and 06 parked side by side, the 06 face lift is quite small hard to spot if your not a car freak i guess if were going to get one 06 over 05 it would be resale and the interior improvements & sat nav opt

The 05 model for me is better anyhow, especially the manual with the 17 inch rims, for starters the grill isn't granny same with the new rims! They have taken away the sportiness of the Euro for the older segment of the market! Satnav would have been cool but to be honest I wouldn't even use it that often.

I saw an 06 graphite on the road this afternoon near the airport in Adelaide. Was in motion and going the opposite way so couldn't tell if it was a Std or Lux, but by gees did that bling grill stand out. Dunno, jury is still open on this one.......

Saw a 06 yestersday at Central Station in Sydney. And my first impression is right, the 06 looks like a american car to me now. So, they should start changing Accord Euro -> Accord U.S

Saw a graphite 06 euro in melb 1st time few days ago. Not sure if it's was std or lux as it was going the opposite way. The chrome grill jumped out to me like a sore thumb thus identifying itself as '06.

That grille and pre-2006 grille both doesn't look good anyway! :D
Need to fix it one day no matter which model!

The New 06 Lux wheels looks awesome in real life - I can't believe I just said that.
They look like sewerage caps on the photo but the real ones have class.... nice

I reckon they still look like sewerage caps in RL too though, seen them, still not a huge fan prefer the 05 luxury version :)

Do you thinks its possible to unscrew or remove that middle bling grill? Or will it leave a gaping hole inthe black under-grill?

Despite missing the Honda badge, I think this would drastically improve the look of it.
U can stick your own badge of your choice, like others have done with the previous models.

I thought I'd hate the grille, but now that I have my 06, I love it just the way it is! I like the fact the top of it is now in line with the headlights, rather than rising above it in the bonnet line. Each to their own... :D

I like the silver (really it has tiny little black dots -- it's not flat silver) luxury interior trim more than the black wood -- and, after all, you tend to look at the interior of your car more than the exterior!

I like the computer functions and use them all the time.

I thought it would be just a bit of a gimmick but I really love the auto-dimming rear mirror -- it works a treat. Whereas other mirrors when you flip them for anti-glare, you generally can't see jack except for the actual headlights, with this one everything just takes on a greenish tinge, and you can still see everything clearly just without dazzle...

I saw a few in streets of Brisbane so far, I cant tell the difference of silver. r they supposed to be different shade of silver from 06 and pre-06 model?

I wonder if Honda has factory option body kits for 2006 Euro yet?? anyone got pics?

I assume the pre06 facotry front and rear skirts wont fit!?

Muhahaha all you 05 nuggets are just jealous . We got more chrome than you ! =)

Since when was any Accord sold in Australia sporty anyways ? its a friggen 4 door family sedan . Only the Euro R does away with the chrome .

It is however only a subtle difference, but im sure it boosted alot of Honda sales recently.

Ok, the 06 Accord Euro is all over Australia now no point continuing this discussion...

I'm gonna close it now, if you have any issues, PM a mod... :)
