Have you bed (sp?) them in properly following the instructions? I say drive it around for a few days and see if the noise goes away.

Otherwise you might have to get you disks machined.

i second what wynode said... the brakes need proper bedding to perform to its best... bedding is considered as no harsh sudden brake (so gentle on brakes) maybe brake earlier than usual to give u the extra distances.,.. makes sure u do this for the first 500km on the new set of pads... hope this will also make the sound goes away

I have the exact same problem when i replaced my brake pads.

1. They are new and still need to worn out a bit before the squeal goes away.
2. As Wyn and jamchen mentioned.
3. I took off my brake pads off and gave the brake pads a good wipe and check for any small particles and then put them back on and now its fine.

mine had same prob, (silly aftermarket brake pads. should have went for OEM.) after 1000kms its still happening. went back to my mechanic and he advised me to brake hard to a stop from 60km/hr, its getting alot better now

The Ferodo pads say not to come to a complete stop from approx 60km/h
