Depends on what EG you have, the problem is not the steering rack itself. The steering rack bolts on no problems.

On the Breeze models where the steering column meets the rack, you will need to change the universal joint. The shaft requires the universal joint from the integra as the spline is bigger and has more teeth. As for the GL and other models not sure if you have to take this additional step if you do then its just a matter of getting this part at a wrecker.

I'm probably gonna get flamed for reviving this, but hey at least I'm not starting a new topic. fatboyz39 did you ever end up fitting the DC2R steering rack? Because I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my EG once I've pulled the motor and I'm doing the B swap (Figured this would be the best time to do it) also if you did do it how hard was it to get it to work? what was a bolt on and what needed modification? Cheers

if you have empty engine bay its easy as pissin!
just gotta massage the lines abit. bend and position the hard line.
yes as 90lan said, you need dc2 universal joint. the pinion on dc2r rack is bigger than eg so you have to change u-joint.

Hmm this is starting to sound pretty complicated lol, I'm not all that mechanically bright just yet (learning as I go) and I'll only be doing the engine swap myself with dad and a few mates. Ill do some research into it and see how I go then
