Power Problems

cruising around cars fine shut the car off

come back 5 mins later batterys dead

could it be rooted battery? rooted alternator?

my volts guage shows it on 14volts while the car is running but when i come back its on around 9-10

any help would be great

From what I understand, you can drive around on a flat battery since the alternator is supplying the power (14volts). But once you turnt he engine off, there is no power generation and the battery dies back to nothing.

Get a new battery and all should be fine :)
