top feeds are well.. fed from the top of the injector

side feeds are fed through the side of the injector.
prelude uses tops, sides are not interchangable with them

sr20 injectors are side feed from what i remember mate, so they arent suitable

injectors from an Evo/VR4 will work though

u can use ca18det injectors but they are only 370cc.... u can use GTR too but they are small too (i forget what size)

RC injectors are pretty well known and trusted!

If you read about the guy who started the company, he has been in racing for almost 60 years!

You'll see heaps of posts on here about RC 550's and 750's.
I think some of the traders on here are able to get their hands on some too...

Maybe

those are good, yes, but I wouldn't run high impedence 750cc injectors on my car personally. I'd get some low impedence ones, and hook up some resistors. With that large of an injector, you're going to run into some issues with poor idle and poor throttle response compared with a similar size low impedence injector.

Also note that www.tunertoys.com in the states sells 680cc injectors by precision(another well known and trusted company) for what works out to be about AU$370 and 1000cc inectors and about AU$400... yes, you'll have to pay for shipping and stuff, but that's a pretty big price difference

i run RC 750cc high imedpance. idle and feel is stock. get a better tuner.

do you understand the difference between high and low impedance injectors and the results that the physical differences in them have on idle and throttle response?

has nothing to do with the tune, has to do with the differences in the mechanics of the injectors that will cause the low impedance injectors of larger size to simply perform better

I didn't say that they high impedance ones won't idle or have poor throttle response, just that it is better with the low impedance ones, and if you're spending the money, why purchase an inferior product when the price difference is usually nonexistant

yeh well..
got 2 cars at a friends house..

sr20 with 740 and a Rb25 with 740

sr20 idles shit
rb25 idle beautiful

and i guess it does relate to the tune

yes, the tune does have a lot to do with it, but given the same tune, with the only difference being the impedance of the injectors(with large injectors), the low impedance ones would come out on top.

I know what you're trying to say, however, the assumption based on the "same" is not a valid one.

As a tuner, you would not tune these different impedence injectors the "same" way for idle.

Either will work.

well, let me rephrase it as "same quality of tune" then

lets put it this way for those that don't know the difference... with larger injectors, low impedance injectors open faster then high impedance ones. Surely everyone can figure out why a slower opening injector would be at a slight disadvantage.
