vtec ? supposively keeping ur car in that rpm range seems to cause more oil to go through ur pcv valve and into ur intake to get combusted.
therefore slowly losing oil
either that or u have a leak somewhere .. sump plug .. cam seal.. rocker cover seal ... crank seal... sump gasket .. warped head or blown head gasket ...
it could be newhere ..
nah .. sohc non vtec... so how can i find out where is the leak comin from?

replace your PCV (located on the inlet manifold) ~ ive read up it should be replaced ever 40,000kms or so and does affect fuel and oil consumption...relevant to blowby/vacuum and reducing the octance rating with excess oil in the intake
Otherwise valve stem seals or piston rings or a banana up ur 1.20 package.

PCV? My ZC is eating oil as well despite a slow CAM seal oil leak, a DIY would be awesome.
cheerz.

How bout you also get a compression check before you go out and buy a bunch of parts. Figure out the problem first then fix it. If the rings are bad on the pistons why buy a pcv valve?! The pcv valve actually costs more then a new set of rings... Although it takes a bit more to change the rings!!

Cheers, ill have a look.
btw I figured having a small oil leak can be a positive thing since the oil is always being topped up, lessening the need for an oil change every 5000km. Unless its a major oil leak off course.
