Hi furiouswilly, yours is an EK1, i used to have the same car except 98'. EK4 and EK9 are the sportier variants with the B16A DOHC VTEC engines however, ours are the D16Y(1 or 4?) sohc non vtec. hence less power and torque. If you go into the civic forum, i believe there should be a civic models sticky thread located at the top of the thread listings, that should give you a decent run down of the models and variations. hope that helps. Not too sure about the clutch though. sorry.

EDIT: Check out the link. Should have most of the answers you want.

Thanks for that info SiReal.....+PQ point for you :)

furiouswilly, have a look around as most of the information you seek is in this site. Just search and do a bit of reading before just asking questions as it takes awhile for information to sink in. Gluck!

if u have a EK GLi you have a d-series engine. Any clutch made for a d-series will work (92-00). brake pads, ring up a brake pad supplier and get them to give u a model number.

Not wanting to discourage you in any way..but why get an exeddy clutch from overseas?
#1 your car would need significant other upgrades in order to actually need the use of a stiffer clutch, so its really just wasting money- better to spend $$ on something else that will give you a greater benefit (in either performance or looks, whatever you fancy)

#2 if you do want an upgrade, get a daikin kit, its essentially the same clutch but without the price tag. There is no real need to order from overseas when the same product is available locally. If its just the 'name' you are after, Daikin is just as respected as any other performance brand clutch

Food for thought, anyway.
