Whats the point of 'Supercharging' it for 145ps? Doesnt the TypeR have like 200ps?.. So I would get that body kit (love the wide body) and put a TypeR engine in it (K20.. isnt it). :)

That'd be the Fit Dynamite.. Also from Mugen.

K20 conversion = $20,000

Supercharge = would be no more than $10,000 at the very most.

A very nice looking little kit infact. Price would probably be an issue, but there doesn't look like there is much too it.

With the Fit being released in the US soon, I would imagine guys like Jackson Racing might loook at something similar and I dare say it will probably cost half as much as the Mugen item.

I think 107kw of supercharged power would make for quite a nice little package. Not too much power (like the K20) but probably just the right amount to match a well sorted chassis/suspension setup.

Ok, i didnt think supercharge would 'only' be that much.. in that case, K20 not worth it.

Can't you see the pics???

They look very similar to Rays Gram Lights 57s both in style and colour

yummy indeed!!!

hopefully the release of the fit in the US will mean lots of aftermarket parts for the Fit :)

let's just hope that this is actually for sale (unlike the fit dynamite)

I can indeed, but being in UK they don't tend to sell Rays alloys.

well its still abit jump from 81kw to somewhere around 110kw. Plus the K20 needs cutting of the firewall so in your dreams if you want one on the road is oz registered.

that video is crap, would like some reving action, why they always spoil with music don the fools understand we wanna hear the cars rev

remember out-right power isn't everything
you'd get a shit load more mid range torque with a supercharger, the good thing is (or bad depending on how you look at it) that since the supercharger delivers instand boost, it would drive much like the std car does, only quicker! :)

don't see it on mugen's online store. then again i believe it's still in prototype stage, might be a while before they release it (if they do)

That charger looks real nice but the Top Fuel turbo kit has just come out and it's about $3500 AUD plus shipping so that might be a better option.

Wow!! This kit looks so much better than the HKS TC kit!!
Man...

Interesting thing is.. Is there any intercooler needed for this kit?? Dun happen to see any piping catered for it..
Anybody know?? :)

When Top Fuel fitted the prototype kit to their car it was running a large front mounted intercooler but as you said it doesn't look like this kit has one. Having said that I will email Top Fuel and enquire about it then post up the details. They are extremely helpful and their english is really good :)

In the US, supercharging the Accord Euro costs US$3500 for the kit and about US$900 for installation. So supercharging the L15 is much cheaper than swapping in a K20A.

Look at how the supercharger sits on the rocker cover! Scary...
