will changing the tip quiet the thing down???
was thinking of getting the twin loop...

any better suggestions at all???

i was told by muffler joint in dande that the tip wont make a diff??? :confused:

yes 4.5" tip is too bloody big for a 2.14 piping

try max 2.5" tip

The tip won't make much difference. The muffler does the silencing - so changing this will make make the biggest difference by far. Twin loop sounds like a good choice based on others experience.

You either have to change to a different muffler or get an extra resonator to quiet down the noise.

Yes the twinloop is very good. A comparison is that i had 2 reasonators with a straight thru muffler. It was too loud for me even then cos it droned abit and i hated that when cruising.

I then went twinloop and only 1 reasonator and it was almost stock! just alittle bit louder. But still had noise when stepped hard and no droning when cruising. Best muffler i ever had to keep noise down and worth every cent. I paid about $200 something delievered, can't rem exactly. EGSI in the traders forum sells them. He is currently having internet problems so you might need to wait abit.
