I know this has been covered before, but I need specifics.

Now that the turbo is finished.

I have a Uberdata chip in a OBD2 ECU, however I have found out that there is minimal support for this system locally, now I want the best tune possible on my EK4, would I be better off ditching the Uberdata and goin for a Hondata S100B?
As i want to get the full potential out of the car, and for future mods such as a bigger turbo and things will the Hondata be better?

I also have an MSD cap with Bosch coil. Will this be ok with Hondata?

kris_ in short, yes. Give dynodave a call or PM and he will help you in any direction you choose. From my experience though, ditch uber and chrome. LVNIT on this forum will agree with me (do a search on his turbo project done just a few weeks back).

Oh and id grab a s200 unit. James or dave can help you out with a deal.

PS ur ignition system is fine for hondata or most other standalones

how'd you make uberdata work in an obd2 ecu? It's an obd1 only system...

and honestly, they do the same thing... they're both modifiers of the stock code. uberdata may be a bit buggier than hondata(although I've never had any problems).

in the end, they do the same thing

I know it's possible to use an obd1 ecu on an obd2 engine... but he specifically said he had an uberdata chipped obd2 ecu, which just isn't possible, regardless of where in the world you are.

Autronic is another option, i know you have spoken to Andy about an uberdata tune, ask him about a price on Autronic :)

autronic is supposed to be one of the very best, although a premium product asks for a premium price

Yeah it does come with a premium price.

I think still speak to Dynodave about Uberdata first, some of the things i didnt like about Uberdata are common to Hondata too (in reference to Weq)

Autronic and Motec cannot be beat for user functions and controllability. The added bonus of the Autronic for the honda is that there is a plug and play version, meaning that we dont need to hack the loom and other install functions.

The Motecs datalogging is over the moon! the amount of information it can display and hold and how much you can learn from a datalog is phenominal.

I've looked at the price of some of the other ecus and if you consider what barefootbonzai and others have paid for a hondata to read boost and do some of the functions that the autronic gives you standard, the premium price is not even "premium"
