Can people explain what each column means in this page:

http://www.ne.jp/asahi/koma/eunos-gp/rally/maintenance/speed_close_gear.htm

First column is engine rpm, then the ratio, then I don't know, then top speed in that gear, then rpm after the upshift, and then I don't know again

And which one would be the best ratio setup for a street car?
I personally like the last one but there is quite a jump from 4th to 5th. I guess the car would accelerate really well up to 162 km/h and just ok after that?

What does last decelleration ration mean and stepup ratio mean?

How do you find the ratio's on the last one?
They are all very short, but 5th is still long enough to cruise at highway speeds. But there is also a huge jump between 4th and 5th unfortunately

i cant read all that either at home it just pops up as a whole lot of ??? and ... but to me that looks like what ben said. what u can do is just plug in those gear ratios and final drive into my spreedsheet and see the outcomes.

You have a spreadsheet that will calculate all that?

Please send!!!

What are people's opinions on a car that goes quick to 162km/h but then 5th is quite long?
