Referring to this (http://www.tradesonic.com/newsonic/Aerodynamics/BumperlipFront/BLF-AI98-MU.jpg) pic, on a 95 DC2 - Can that "meshy"/grill black thing be removed (not the mugen lip)? It's one thing I've always disliked about my front bar, and when I saw this pic it dawned on me it may be possible to remove it?

it will look worse without it man,but if u still wana remove it,u goto chop them off so use your imagination and u will know what to do :)

old owner of my car litrally hacksawed a 2 small squares out of it (not a good job either) to fit in some extra fog lights.......

lets just say in time a new front end will be purchased

OK, So looks like maybe ripping it out isnt the best option.

What options do I have however, for a front bar and/or lip on a 95 VTI-R? Currently it's the only thing annoying me :) Love everything else!

well u can chop off that square lookn mesh, it aint hard at all...
an idea is by replacing a really "closed" chicken mesh of some sort in its place...ill post up a pic of wat i mean laters...

another alternative is that u go a facelifted front end conversion,
which includes a 98+ bar, headlights and corners...
all that plus ITR lip = HOTNESS!!

that pic is of a 98-01 front not a pre 98 front.
Like Q-Ball has said, the itr frolnt looks hotness. Or the JDM.

Well, I would love to the the JDM 98-01 Front Conversion (I assume this is just lights + front bar).

But it's basically impossible to source these parts for this conversion.

its more than just the lights and front bar .. theres also the radiator supportand manyother aspects u would need to think abt

anyways .. i was after the mugen style front lip for the pre faced dc2 as well, any idea where i would be able to pick one up from melb?
