Is this a new relay?
And is it the main fuel pump relay?

If so I heard Honda's have problems with them

pull it out and re solder the dry joints, theres a DIY writeup by ECUMAN.

If that fails replace the main relay with a working one to see if the noise goes away

relay was resoldered - by ben, so i'm assuming it's fine

i've been told it could be faulty grounds - which i will check when i get home

can anyone confirm this?

not by me , by "Hannys performance" ~ but worked fine . Sure there are no other wires crossing ? Because if the main relay was faulty , there would be no noise at all (fuel pump probably would not prime at all)

well i cant here the fuel pump priming at all

is there anyway i can test the fuel pump?

would it be hella dangerous to just ground one side and connect 12v to the other side to test the pump?

pm ECU MAN about that idea straight away lol

Sure the fuel pump connections are tight and grounded too ?

connectins are tight, i'll double check all my grounds

apparantly buzzing could be caused by bad grounding.

Had a similar problem when installing a new engine.

My ground was loose at the back of thermostat. :)
