battery goes dead

hey guys last few weeks my cars bein a biatch
if its off for over 2 days the batter goes dead...and like i changed the battery to another for this morning out of my other car and it cracked straight away..
appears to be no dead cells
the battery is only id say 1 year old if that.. but yeh annoying duno wat it is.. aye its at auto electrician now told him..see wat he can do

this problem only started wen i got t.v and dvd player installed in there...
ive noticed that the t.v i can turn it on and off with no accessorys on or ignition so that could drain it but i turn it off everytime not to sure if that matters...please help guys

Check over your wiring dude, you've prob hooked up the head unit's accessory into constant 12v or something along those lines which could explain the battery draining when the cars off.

Get a Test light and you can probe the correct wires when you turn on your ignition swtich to determine which wire is which.

Just a word of advice.... Test lights can set off airbags and burn other circuits. Use a multimeter. They cost about the same and are better.

yeh check over the wiring and if everything seems ok you might have tried to draw too much current and popped a diode in the alternator.. when that happens you will lose around 40mA each day and also the alternator would have lost one of the 3 phases thus creating very weak charging

well had a new odessey battery put in its 560cca... my alternator is charging at 14.22volts and without everyting on its 14.27 so notin wrong now with everything like t.v stereo cranked... the auto elect said the battery jus basically shit itself.. see how it goes il check it tomoz see if its still crankin i think it shall be but

btw id u want an odessey battery $120 through my dads mate... usual price 300 can do it for about 200
