Lately my headunit [pioneer DEH-P1Y] has been ***ing up. The face doesnt come down anymore so I cant get my cd out and put another one in. I press the open button, I hear the beep that notifies me that its been pressed but nohting happens. I've unhooked it, taken the face off manualy when u turn it off but nothing helps, anyone got any ideas?

call Pioneer would be my 1st thought.

How old is the unit??

Yeah i might call them tomorrow. Its 7 months old.

Go back to where you bought it. Should have a 1 year warranty. They can pull the face apart and get your cd out. Pioneer will just tell you the same thing. You can put in for a RMA to Pioneer but you might not get your cd back.
