I just want to know if the vtir and type-r share the same front brake pads.
Looking to get formula ferodo ts2000 pads to use on my type r brakes. No one is sure what is the correct pad and every one is saying its a DB1206 (same as bendix pads). Would they be the same as the ones used on 5th gen prelude/CRV?

dc2r and INTEGRA vti-r pads are not the same (you didn't say which model of Honda 'vti-r' you were reffering to).
Not sure about the prelude but I believe the CRV and ITR calipers are the same. Compare part numbers though to confirm.
The best way to be sure is to remove your brake pads and match it to the pads you are buying. You can also use your pads to get the appropriate Bendix part number from Repco.
Performance pads like Ferodo TS2000 normally don't share the same part numbers as regular pads, though.
Contact Motospecs on (02) 9847 5777. They distribute Ferodo pads in Australia.

If you can't take out your brake pad (ie because you have to drive there in your car :p) then take it out at home, trace around it with a pen and paper and use that as a rough guide.

Ok. Does a 97 CRV have the same pads as a type-r?
