can you buy main cap bolt for a 'D' series motor. arp dont list anything

the mains will be strong enought with the main stud bolts & girdle so dont worry about main studs

Yes ARP has a kit for your car and they are a special custom order. You don't need them unless you are building a high rpm and hp motor. I will call later and get a part number. If the thread size and bolt size are the same as the b-series there is no reason you can't use that bolt though. If you can get me the length, diameter and thread size, should be a 1.5 thread, I will check mine and see if it will work.
