Idea for new section

hey guys.. just an idea but i thought if we had a video section for people to upload there videos from cruises and events we would get more people taking video cameras along... and those people who didnt get to go can see what went on that day... or night... ofcouse the Admins would have to view everthing that went into the section... anyway if you think its a good i already have a couple of vids that i could upload

first problem I see is that you would need concent from everysingle person on the cruise to have theyre number plates posted, 1 person says no, alot of the footage would not be able to be used, unless you can be stuffed going through and editing every plate from every scene.

Well people can post up videos if they want but they (the person hosting/posting up the video) is responsible for what they put up so I don't see why moderators / admins should have to 'approve' any videos?

To add - in doing so posting up any links to videos is OK - since we wont host them on our site I guess its not of our legal obligation to monitor the actual video itself ? Do so at your own risk in other words :)

Should be fine as long as it's hosted externally...

If they choose to host videos of crazy stunts it's their responsibility but might put a bad name to OzHonda....

what makes crusie videos different to cruise photos ??
no one gets everyones consent to post up cruise photos ??

plates and faces can be easily edited from photos...whereas in video its a little harder...buh yerr...im all for seeing some footage...good idea

We won't be hosting any videos due to space and bandwidth reasons (unless its a DIY or tech related) so you will have to find an alternate source (if that's what the Q was?)
