Hello.

Ive been given a choice by a tyre shop to choose either Nankang NS-2 or Silverstone FTZ sport for my car. I could get other tyres but these are the ones that they are offering me with no price difference to my wheel+tyre package.

I just wanna know if anyone would like to share their experiences with these tyres so i can make my decision. Thanks.

I had the ftz's on my car when i bought it. I have since changed these to bridgestone g3's and the difference between them is like black and white
Handling in both wet and dry is largely increased, while the g3's are also quieter and ride better.
If you are serious about handling then option up your package to incorporate some decent rubber.

yeah both are lower level tires mate. :thumbdwn:

IMO tires are not something u wanna go cheap on as you will most likely regret it later. too many people under-rate the importance of tires and get cheapo tires in a deal with their rims

Firestone is to Bridgestone as is Armani Exhange is to Armani right?

I read somewhere that NANKANG brought the blueprints of Bridgestone's old designs...

Nankang tyres have hard compound, lasts longer but doesn't handle too well with grip though (My opinion)..

Remember, tyres are the only thing in contact with your car :).. Pay more for safety :)

yeh i'll try negotiate with them to upgrade the package. Get Grid 3 or Trampio TPG.

They are both cheap tyres, fork out some money and get some good tyres, you wont look back.

Otherwise, for a good cheap tyre get some hankook K104's
