I've got an EK1 Civic hatch.
Just want to know what you folks can recomend for a new exhaust, either cat back or the whole lot.
i dont want a rice style cannon on the back more like something sporty and thats not too loud but gives the car a nice puuuur.
Cheers

All you have to do is search man.

If you don't want the rice cannon style then go with brands that are well known such as Mugen, Spoon, Fujitsubo.

When I had the civic I had some no name Cannon, so very very rice, however wasn't overally noisy, or expensive. Just gave it a nice note, not tinnie in any way.

My mate has some no-name twin tip muffler on his, from the axle back - sounds good - deeper note, not droney - still loud enough to hear quite well when cruising around mid-RPM range. :)

If its just an EK1 i'd stick with just a muffler, cause the performance increase won't be huge, and also if your just after a nice bit of noise coming out the rear.

Has anyone tried removing the resonator. I know induction note and exhaust note are 2 different things. But even my non Vtec CXI sound bloody good. Plus the cops can't pull you over for that.

Unless of course you already have a cold air intake.
