well topic kinda says it all..my dc2 died, apparently my pistons shot through da buttom of my engine n now theres a big hole...n i aint know too much bout cars but thatz kinda the story can anyone explain to me wat happen..i wasnt drivin so yea..n wat u guyz rekon i should do i think the head is still orite..

no no my mate was drivin...i mean i wasnt in tha car at the time..so im juz askin u guyz who noe more about in detail what couldve happen

or he was down shifting and miss shifted

o i c..my cars done a fair bit of k's tho like 220xxx is that like relevant or u guyz rekon that the car woulda been fine but yea the miss shift @###@! my car up?

the driver doesn't neccerally have to mis-shift down.

he could of just rev the crap ouutta the car and engine couldn't hack it...

if it was driven "normally", then a piston should never blow through a block.. Blocks weren't made of wafer biscuits y0!

so hey ive been doin some research with the search button how bout a b20 bottom now, any one got any rough estimates..i think my b18c head is fine..so b20 buttom, i know theres extra costs in sleeves etc etc so any one give me a lil more info wat i need rough estimates n good place in melb..
