Which one if these are better??

Both are with pillowball top mounts for the front.
Both of them will have 5kg front springs and 3.5 or 4 kg rear springs.

Car is for street so I want minimal skipping off of bumps etc.

Teins are a bit cheaper (about $700) and have the option of the EDFC, and has 16 level of damper adjustment compared to 5 on the Cusco's. Teins available locally from a shop. Another pro they have is they can be rebuilt locally, and can buy different rate springs locally too.

But in the end of the day I am willing to have a bit more of a head ache when it comes to these things for better performance

Any ideas which one would be the best?

for the middle hodna range teins are around 7k front and 4kg rear - dont let the gimmic of "EDFC" be a selling point. All it takes its a quick bonnet + boot pop and then adjsut damper yourself.

With tein SS in my civic now - they are great.

So you ended up getting them?

Well as you know also I have a lancer and the tein SS springs are 5kg front and 4kg rear

Can you tell me how yours are? in some detail?

The EDFC is actually a great point for me as I want the best ride and minimal wear and tear most times and then max handling with just a press of a button

Does the car skip off of bumps at all? Is it stiff ride?

i have the car on the lower settings so it does skip alittle around hard corners ~
but im yet to get the optimal damper/height combo. Once im over the dumped look ill raise the rear alittle to help out.The shorter stroke is very noticeable too ~

But in comparison to anything else (see less) coilovers are a fantastic investment.

Yeah I had coilovers and they were great besides the skipping off of bumps. They were the Fulcrum ones
Now I sold them and have a choice between Tein SS, the Cusco's or some Bilstein's. Just whatever offers the best handling.

Have you tried putting them on the stiffest setting? How are they then? Any skipping?

i have cuscos in my DC2R and they are great... its a firm but smoothe ride and they work really really well in conjunction with a white line sway bar! drive like a go cart!

Best handling.... where? Street? Track? I'm guessing street...
My friend had Cusco Zero 2R coil-overs in his car and they didn't feel like anywhere near 5kg spring rates... :p
Imo I'd probably go for the TEINs but if the spring rate for your car with the Cuscos is around the 5kg mark... neither would be a bad option but since you can get the TEINs rebuilt here... why not TEIN :)

Yeah I think I may go Tein...

Is there a cusco dealer in Oz by the way?
As so far I think I would have to get them internationally.

But yeah, I think Tein's will be my choice

Now... what about the Bilstein PSS9 I think they are? Any clues on them?
