hey.
just wondering about two problems im having right now.
1) just opened the bonnet and looked at clutch fluid. fully empty. does it usually just go away fast?
2) trying to install alpine splits by myself. im wondering what is the best way to run copper wires into the doors. i dont wanna use the thin ass stock wires.
thanks.

clutch fluid shouldn't go anywhere, you must have a leak :(
How long since you checked it? time frame on how long it took to disapear?
As for the thin ass wires, my brother told me there fine for most car speakers (he's audio tech) not including SUB's

top up the clutch container with DOT 4 brake fluid ( the normal honda stuff) ~ dont let it run driy. There must be a leak somewhere...look aroudn the clutch pedal , lines all teh way to the release fork to see if there is a leak.

Go for gold :D
I'm sure you can hear 1% lol
I just installed 6" front and back using stock wire and 4 x 50RMS AMP
Sounds wicked, far better than I expected

i think the cause of it might be the valve near the header. mite of bumped it accidently while installing the headers. but this was weeks ago. the clutch fluid onliy became empty yesterday. filled it up just then but its all gone away agn. pissed off

If its going that fast it shouldn’t be to hard to find the leak, just follow the Clutch fluid lines with a flashlight and look for anything wet of shinny
It’s the slow leaks that are normally the hardest to find lol

have u done anything like a clutch change recently???
ur main seal could be gone...
cost $40 for the seals itself though its hefty to get it done if ur GB is back in place....

my car done about 135 k. the whole clutch was changed about 90k by the previous owner. i dont think it was done properly. u can hear the clutch and spiket bearings in motion. but still drives fine.
Did a bleed and refill today. Hopefully it does the trick.

if theres a leak i would definately give ur undercarrage a degrease cos the brake fluid=clutch fluid will eat at ur paint and eventually rust then ur forked hahaa...if i were u i wouldnt bother putting in new speaker cables unless ur planning to install like dynaaduios or dls or something along those lines

In my case, I do changed those speaker wire. since eg is using plug to the door, I cannot change those wire directly. there are two ways. one is you make a hole on the door side and wiring into it. another is jumping into the door trim. of course, second way would be much easier, but the outlook no good as first. anyone got better idea?
about the clutch, try to look around under the driving side, if master leaking, there will be full of fulid. if slave leaking, you will see fulid on the floor.

hey best way 2 put a hole in the door to fit a wire thru is a right angle drill, i used a pneumatic one. make sure you use a rubber gromet and tape up the wires or you can use a rubber conduit in the exposed section. get these from ur local stereo installer, stratties have heaps of them.
