well changing the oil in my crx wanted to know, how much should i put in???
its a 1995 crx.

i dont know the exact ammont but here is one way.
pour about 3 ltrs, then wait, check the dipstick. then add about 400mls at a time. wait a few minutes before checking the level. as it takes a while for the oil do run down into the sump ect...

same engine as my em1, 4litres dude:thumbsup:, thats what it says in the handbook anyway
4 litres, someone correct me if im wrong.

ok just poured in 4 litres........ its been 10mins and nuthin has registered on the dipstick wtf??????? and yes sump plug is in
Try running the engine for a minute, then check the dipstick.

if your still low on the dipstick, add a bit at a time till its on the top notch on the dipstick

i perosnally like to use 3.5L, i dunnoe why, lol i just have it in the middle of the two dots on the dipsitck

recomend filling to full to prevent starvation in turns
and is ur sar on a slope if yes park it level and check for large leaks
and dont ever start ur car with no oil registering!!!! u will cause enormouse damage every second the car is running

hehehe yeh i know not to start :P
well filled in 4litres...... nothing registered on the dipstick for a while so i took it for a drive shut it down for 10mins then checked. all is sweet :D
oh and i found out why my car was leaking oil from the sump, turned out to be from the sump plug.... all sweet now :D
