a couple of days ago my intake pipe busted(OEM)
so i put the pod directly onto the throttle body for the mean time till i can find a descent intake pipe.
THE RESPONCE AND SOUND IS MAD!!!!!
has any one else driven their car like this???
the induction noise is so loud, i dont know if its me or the car feels quiker like this???
any ways hopefully i can take it to the track wed night and see if it has made a change for the better or worse.

I think initially it might feel better, but once the heat from the engine bay builds up, having your pod right in the midst of it would hinder your performance.

Kind of like the SRI Vs. CAI debate!

im guessing a better setup would to invest on a small scoop to feed cold air directly to your throttle body.

thats how water can get in and potentially destroy your engine, hood scoops purposes are usually to vent engine heat unless they properly constructed to enable no water to ever reach the intake.
yeah ive driven like that up an down the street and the sound of the cams was awesome but thats it

sounds like trouble.
even though it may sound nice. your risking your engine internals from getting water in it.
my opinion, get this fixed asap cause it might do more damage than good.
but... up to you.. the roar is good, but the consequences may be costly. :)

covered many times,
you will most likely find that the increase in noise makes it feel faster rather then actually making it faster.
